Friday the 13th, June, Two Thousand Hate: everything seemed perfect. We performed on a Friday the 13th opening for Punk Rock legends, The Damned, Gibus Club was incredibly sold-out, over 700 tickets sold in like 48 hours, our show was electric, killer response from that Goth/Punk crowd, "Hollywood Noir" vinyls & "Don't fuck with Iran!" shirts sold so well... Went back home real early the following morning, checked my e-mails and discovered the sad news: my friend Traci from the Peppermint Creeps just died. Couldn't believe it, was real shocked (still am), then cried and cried and cried. Met Traci for the 1st time back in '94 in L.A. on Hollywood Blvd., became friends, hung out with him every single year since then. Unlike many others, Traci never betrayed me, always had a positive attitude, never heard him saying bad things towards people, Traci was a good guy, and he was a great great drummer, one of the best I've ever met. Last time I saw Traci, was last January in Paris, said goodbye to eachother at some subway station. Knowing that I'll never see him again hurts so much. I will never forget my friend and will always cherish all those precious souvenirs together. Traci Michaelz (1974-2008) R.I.P.

It was so great meeting all of you that we actually left that one-of-a-kind Parisian "Salon du Livre" at 10:30 PM instead of 7:30 as originally planned. Gratitude to all of you, lovely ladies and geniuses gents from France, Belgium and Japan for showing up and for being part of our White Whore contingent. Very special mention to Sir Pacaly and both BDL Editions' publishers for their kindness and hospitality. That BDL booth was definitely the most happening spot in the entire Porte de Versailles' hall, where various major medias came by and took great interest in our smartass partnership. Another UCS show in London is currently in the process of being booked as well as a special live performance in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
